How to use your weekly time card
Choose Weekly for seven days or Biweekly for two Monday–Sunday weeks. Select a day and enter one clock-in, clock-out and unpaid break. Each day keeps its own entries. An earlier clock-out is the next day; the full shift belongs to the clock-in day. Equal times are invalid.
Totals add exact minutes before converting to decimal hours. Pay uses the combined worked minutes and rounds once to cents. It excludes overtime premiums, taxes and deductions. Copy, CSV and print use only the currently selected period and require valid entries.
Weekly & biweekly time card FAQs
What happens when I switch to Weekly?
Week 1 stays active. Week 2 stays in this page's memory and returns when you choose Biweekly. Hidden Week 2 hours are excluded from Weekly totals, copy, CSV and print.
Can I leave days empty?
Yes. With both clock times blank, a day contributes zero hours. A partly entered shift needs correction before period totals or exports are available. Enter only unpaid breaks; paid breaks remain included.
Does this calculate overtime?
No. The optional USD pay estimate applies one straight-time hourly rate to worked minutes. It does not determine overtime eligibility or payroll amounts. Week 1 and Week 2 time totals remain separate.
Are my entries saved?
Entries stay in memory on this page. Reloading or closing it clears them. No shift or rate entries are sent to a server. Copy, download CSV or print before leaving if you want a record.
Can I enter multiple shifts or select dates?
This version supports one shift per day in fixed Monday–Sunday weeks. It does not select calendar dates or adjust for timezones or daylight saving time.
